Monarch Park Co-ed Volleyball Classic XXIII

Volleyball tournament in Toronto, ON on Apr 9 – 10, 2010

This 23rd Annual Tournament is the "premier" Coed Volleyball Tournament of its kind.  Starting way back in 1988, this Annual Tournament has hosted many OFSAA Championship teams (boys and girls).  Many Associations send teams year after year.

 The Tournament is "classic" reverse rules.

Women's height net (2.24m)  Women can block, tip and hit

Men must hit from behind the 3m line and cannot block.

Rotational rules are in play and teams must line up boy/girl at the start of each play (once the ball is in play, the girls move to the front court and the boys move to the backcourt)

The 3 touch rule IS in play (both sexes must play the ball on a 3 touch attack)  

The TDSB runs this format as a league.

Schools coming from outside of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) have the choice of playing all their games on Saturday OR playing 2 matches on Friday night and two on Saturday.
